which brings together three industry-leading brands specialising in premium, custom-engineered
showering solutions – Majestic, The Shower Lab and Flair showers. We deliver exceptional design,
cutting-edge materials, and excellent customer service across the UK. As we continue to grow, we
are seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Estimator to join our dynamic team and play a
pivotal role in project quoting, specification writing, and project management across the division.
Role Overview
Working as part of a collaborative team, this is a position combining estimating expertise and
market knowledge. You will prepare accurate and timely estimates for bespoke glass shower
doors, enclosures, and related hardware systems, while also managing specification writing and
pricing submissions for projects. Working closely with external sales, architects, designers,
contractors and project partners, you will ensure each project is costed correctly, meets technical
requirements, and aligns with our high standards of craftsmanship and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce precise estimates for bespoke glass shower products across three aligned
companies. - Interpret architectural plans, sketches, photos, and on-site measurements.
- Provide clear and professional quotations for glass, hardware, and installation services.
- Write detailed specifications and manage commercial submissions for projects.
- Liaise with customers, contractors, architects, designers, project partners and internal
teams to clarify requirements. - Recommend suitable design solutions and product alternatives when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, specifications, revisions, and approvals in CRM
systems. - Support scheduling, order processing, and project administration when required.
- Proactively engage with indirect customers (architects, designers, contractors, merchants)
to nurture relationships from pre-tender through to order placement. - Promote Sanbra Group products and services at every opportunity via telephone, email,
and occasional face-to-face meetings. - Provide technical support and mentoring to other members of the bid and estimating
team.
Requirements - Proven experience in estimating within glass, glazing, construction, or custom fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, bills of quantity, and tender documents.
- Strong numerical accuracy, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal.
- Proactive attitude with confidence in customer engagement.
- Sound product knowledge and commercial awareness; ability to balance cost and
aesthetics. - Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; willingness to learn new tools.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
- Knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and key decision-making factors.
- Understanding of competitor landscape and share-of-wallet opportunities.
